HOPE Market — Caribbean & Southern African Celebration
A monthly country-style market where local artisans sell handmade goods, with classes all day, food for sale, and places to sit and enjoy the day. A fundraiser for HOPE Life Global.
HOPE Market is a joyful gathering that celebrates Caribbean and Southern African cultures — the food, music, dance, craft, and storytelling that carry these communities forward. Every event helps fund the work of HOPE Life Global.
Our events are more than gatherings — they're a way to come together, support local artisans, and fuel the mission. Every market, talk, and fundraiser helps fund mission trips, feeding programs, and care for families and children in need across the globe.
Hope Market is more than a sales day — it's a mission event hosted by HOPE Life Global, a Texas nonprofit committed to strengthening families, small businesses, and cultural communities across the DFW area.
We built Hope Market to celebrate Caribbean and Southern African cultures — the food, music, dance, craft, and storytelling that carry these communities forward — and to give the small business owners and makers who live that culture every day a real place to be seen, heard, and supported. Too many hardworking vendors, artists, and food entrepreneurs never get the visibility they deserve. Hope Market is our answer to that.
By joining us — as a vendor, sponsor, or attendee — you're helping us:

HOPE Market is a monthly country-style fair held at Lancaster's historic Town Square — a celebration of Caribbean and Southern African cultures. Local artisans, makers, and food entrepreneurs set up indoors and outdoors to sell handmade goods, with hands-on classes throughout the day, food for sale, and spaces to sit, eat, and enjoy. It's a fundraiser where 100% of proceeds benefit HOPE Life Global.
All day long, the HOPE Market comes alive with hands-on classes and activities for every age. Move to the music, learn a new skill, and make memories together as a family.
Move to the rhythms of the islands and beyond. Learn lively Caribbean styles like merengue and bachata alongside Southern African dance traditions — reflecting the cultures and communities we partner with, from Jamaica and Haiti to Eswatini. All ages and skill levels welcome; no partner needed.
Hands-on classes where families create together — soap-making, candle-pouring, and simple crafts you can take home. A fun, screen-free way to learn something new side by side.
Games, music, and activities the whole family can enjoy together. Little ones and grandparents alike find something to smile about between the stalls.
Watch artisans share their craft — from botanical skincare to traditional techniques — and pick up a new skill to try at home.
Live music and cultural performances throughout the day, celebrating the sounds and spirit of the communities we serve.
Class schedules vary each market. Follow us on social media or stop by the info table on event day for the full lineup.
